I tried this out but it's not working quite right. The calendar shows up in Google Calendar, but not every event is listed. I see the events in the ical export, so it seems to be that Google is ignoring some of them.

Well now hang on, I just tried it again and this time all the events showed up. That's peculiar. I guess I'll post this reply anyway just in case somebody else has this issue.

Sometime in the last month or two I noticed that every time I load up the Time Keeping tab, the start date for the report range and the edit range both default to 1999. The end date always seems to default to the current day. No matter if I change the start date, every time I come back to the Time Keeping tab it goes right back to 1999.

When I print the member certification status report, I just get an empty report with no members. The roster does the same. I sure hope they haven't all up and quit on me. :)

For us I think it's a feature we might use if it was there, but I can't see it being a deal breaker. It certainly hasn't been to this point.

Maybe an option to suppress a member from rosters and reports?

General Mission Manager Discussion / Radio log keyboard shortcut

Is there a keyboard shortcut (and if not, could it be added) to swap the From/To on the radio log? What I'm thinking is that commonly two people will be conversing back and forth. It would be handy to use a simple keyboard shortcut that switches them, rather than having to retype both names.

When a member selects or deselects their equipment on the check-in screen, it also changes their permanent equipment list. Is that the intended action? They could elect to not bring an ATV on a particular mission, but I'd still like to keep record of whether they own one.

Are these inventories captured anywhere on a mission report? We'd like to be able to know that, for example, 7 people responded and there were 3 ATVs used.

Is there a way, or if not could there be, to track personal equipment that is used on a mission? Specifically we'd like to know whether someone has brought their ATV or snowmachine, and we'd like to keep track of the mileage on it.

When adding new calendar entries, I find I often forget what the correct date was when the new event page loads. Yes, yes, there is some PEBCAK here :). Regardless, it would be great if there was a way to create a new event with the date field already filled in. I'm thinking something like when double clicking on the date on the calendar, or maybe an icon on each date.

Note that you can turn off the Radio Number by blanking out the Radio Field Name in the "Team Information" section of the Configuration screen.

It is now!  There is now a popup window that will allow you to specify what fields will print.

I get the new popup but regardless of which fields are selected I only get names printed to the roster.

Hang on, I got it to work. I deselected all the fields, printed, then reselected just the fields I wanted and it printed correctly. Works fine for me now.

Is it possible to customize the fields on the printable member roster? For example, our ID# and Radio# are the same so having both is redundant. We also would prefer a slimmed down version without Rank or Address. I'm thinking an array of checkboxes to turn on or off which fields print. Doable?

I suppose the alternative would be to export the data and format it in a spreadsheet myself, but I'd like something more standard so that anybody on the team could print out the roster and get the same results.

My team used MM for our first live search this morning and we had one question come up. It seems somewhat related to the thread at http://www.radishworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=28.0 but it's a little different.

What tends to happen is we have lots of people show up all at once and we start planning out teams while we get the trailer set up and the generator going, i.e. before a computer is up. While that's happening we keep track of check-ins on paper. We'd like an easy way to transfer that to MM. The current process isn't pretty streamlined and not a big deal for a handful of users, but a nice feature would be a list of all active members that we could do check in in a batch.

Obviously we're still new to this, so I don't know if there are potential pitfalls with this strategy. What do you think?

I was showing off Mission Manager to the group in preparation for rolling it out (many great things were said, btw) and one suggestion we got was to change the background of the page when opening up a mission so that it was more obvious that you were in a mission, versus the normal pages.
