Title: incorrect time stamp in radio log
Post by: jgr826 on October 31, 2015, 12:57:25 PM
Hello,
We just noticed this today. The time stamp in the radio log does not match actual time. Has anyone else seen this behavior before? What's the fix?

Thanks!

Thanks for the report. We will look into this time offset.

MM System time stamp is still off by a small amount, less than one minute behind actual time This is easy to see if you send yourself an email containing the current time in the message field. Then, go back and look at it in the message history.
Problems like this are usually caused by web servers not tied properly into a time reference signal or by a database/server not tied into a time reference signal.

Sorry that I haven't monitored this issue for a month, but just to let you know that the issue still exists. The MM timestamp in the message log is 3 minutes BEHIND the actual time.

Thanks for following up. It is off 3 minutes on the Chat screen which perhaps your team has renamed Message Log. We will fix that and report back to this thread.

Did you mean the message history screen? That is off by 3 minutes as well. Thanks.

The MM timestamp is still off, now by 7 minutes. The MM time is ahead of actual time by 7 minutes. You can demonstrate this by sending yourself a message with your computer's time in the message, and then looking at the message response screen.
