Feature Requests and Issues / Test Missions

Is there a field that we can make so a mission does not count in the stats for the team?   I have a few missions that we have created for testing or to help store information.  Examples would be a training mission for support units or a mission that we use the map feature to layout local repeaters.

General Mission Manager Discussion / Labeling Clues

Anyone have a good way to label clues?

Labeling is fine if its a small word like print, shoe, bottle but I have a hard time trying to figure out how to word a label so it will show on the map but not be so big that it overtake the area. One example is last night we had a search and through mass calling we have several sightings.  To show the pattern on the map I labeled them "time sighting" (ie 1820 sighting) but that was a little much for the map. If I abbreviate them we risk members not knowing what the clue symbol means or when it was spotted.

Just thinking out loud here.

Is there a way to create a area in Mission Manager that would show current sectors and allow 3 to 6 search managers to rank them by likelihood? We know this as the Sector Ladder Planning Sheet. Even if you can't link the map section to this it would be helpful to have a spreadsheet of sectors and search managers that could be tabulated and exported to a report.

Would you be able to take it one step further and once the ranking is done to have the system change the sectors colors like a heat map?

Did I just make you do this?  :o :-\ :'(

Can you please tell me the backup plan for MM?  Is the system being backed up nightly/weekly?    Is the backup data being stored off site?

Can we get a couple of fields added to the Mission General page?  This is data we collect but might be willing to use other standards.  I'm not sure what the Lost Person Behavior project tracks but maybe we could add their requirements and if so it could be a opportunity to submit all our data to that project.

Fields we would like...
Type - Full, Limited, Partial, Standby
Classification - (maybe this could be a area that we could put our own items in)  Missing, Dispondant, Mission Child, Autistic, Mutual Aid, Alzhimers, etc....

If we get this a report of all missions in a date range would be nice.  The google doc we are using has these fields.
Mission Name, Mission Number, Date, Type, Date of CAll, End Date, Type of incident, Classification, Age, Distance from PLS found, Location Found, Subject Description, County, City/Township, Time of Call, Weather

When entering responses into a new calendar item if you are scrolled down the page of users at the time you make your change the system will reset to the top of the names.  This takes a lot of time when you trying to add 30-60 people in an event.  Can you please change this so it does not scroll up to the top each time?

The ranking system for the supervisors is not working for us.   I think this is based on join date but that is not always the case.  Any way to make allow us to set a supervisor or rank our members?

Are we able to set a global (agency) Return Email Address under Messages? 

Many in our team use the Android FireAlert app so we can set our phones to quite at night but the pages still come through because the FireAlert app uses the senders email address or number as a trigger.

I'm I missing the spot to manually enter members in to an event? Can we do this under Calender or Time Keeper?

Can we add a On Scene response to the response section under Messages?  Our Net Control monitors units coming to a search and turns them over to staging once they arrive.

I would also like to suggest the ability to enter data into the message field in the responses.  If a member calls in over the radio it would be nice to be able to put ETA or other notes in here.
