When I update a photo for a member, then go in and search for that member, the 'thumbnail' image that comes up is still the old image.  Tried deleting the id card photo and changing the name, then re-uploading...still the old thumbnail image.

We added a few fields we use to track info placed on our ID cards (blood type, ht/wt, etc.).

The field for height (placed in the "Member Equipment Strings" section as "Height") inserts a "\" in the email when sent to members.

So, on Mission Manger in Chrome the field reads:
5' 9"

On the email to members, it reads:
Height: 5' 9\"

Any idea what's going on here?

Not sure if this has been addressed before or not.  I'd like to use the member export to upload into our ID card printing system.  On the back of our ID cards we print DOB, height, weight, eye color, hair color and blood type (in case our member is unconscious and needs to be identified/drugs administered).

Can optional fields be placed in the system, separated (like next of kin/medical info), available to be updated by the member (like medical and next of kin info) and optional to use (via the configuration) for key vitals like this?  As it stands now, we upload the export, then we have to go in by hand and key everyone's vital statistics before printing IDs...a pain in the butt considering our ID cards expire annually for newer members, every 2 years for senior members.

If a certification, etc. is "required", can the title have an asterisk (as on the actual member page) to help let members know what required items they are still missing vs. certifications that are not required?

...I see they only contain those fields that have values.  That makes it hard for a member to know what they can get certified in but haven't yet.  Can all certifications that are in the configuration screen be included in the member status emails to let them know what they haven't yet completed?

When on the member screen and you click the button to send the member a status email, can that email include the equipment assigned to them on the equipment tab?

Can the "Email Status" feature be tweaked to insert line breaks between the Certifications and Expirations?  And can all of the loaded Certifications and Expirations in the Configuration section be listed?

Currently only those fields that have a date are brought over, and it's all in one big line (difficult for a member to see what they are missing).

On the Equipment tab, there is a list of members (populated from the Member table), but i don't see a way to pull out a list of members that includes the equipment they have assigned per the Equipment window.

Is it possible to get the Member tab to have a section included that shows what is assigned to them via the Equipment tab
...OR...
Can a member export include the assigned equipment from the Equipment tab
...OR...
Can a separate report be generated with basic Member info (the top section of the Member tab) and the assigned items?

OK, last one for today...

On the Equipment "find" list, can a button or link be added that will open that specific item?  Similar to when you search for a member...you can open that member record with the "open" button at the right.

Not sure how many people use the Equipment section heavily, but our team is considering it to provide our agency with a 'one stop shop' to find out the status of our team and gear.

The equipment table has the user-defined fields (awesome), but our Logistics officer is asking for a way to track equipment in groups.  The example we have is:
We have X number of <insert your medical supply here>...some are in our cache, others are distributed to our 5 equipment trailers inside of bins numbered 1-20.

She'd like to see a way to pull just the items in a sub group - be it in the equipment trailer, or even a specific bin within that trailer.  The idea being she can show our FD a "full" report (what MM does now), but she'd also like to be able to pull and either print or export a sub-set of equipment, say located in Trailer 10732 or in Bin 1, Trailer 10732.

My idea was maybe something as simple as adding a Location drop down field, similar to Status (where you populate the values in the Configuration tab, then have that field be a "permanent" field).  Then on the back side, maybe the ability to run reports...either a full report, or one filtered by that Location field.  To get what she wants, I can see Location needing two or three fields...so Location 1 would be maybe what agency or a site within the agency...Location 2  would be what area within Location 1, etc.

Not sure if this is a monster ask or not, but now that we've shown them we can track our items on line, they are seeing all kinds of ways they want to parse the data.

We seem to be having an issue and we need a little more info on how MM works.

We have an equipment table of everything we have for our team (PPE, medical equipment, etc.).  Many of our line items don't have a serial number (medical equipment, etc.).

We have 5 trailers full of gear - much of it not serialized, with a small percentage that does have a serial number (generators, etc.).

After importing 2170 items, only 708 items were actually imported.

We need to know what the logic is for how MM decides an item is a 'duplicate' and how it determines if you are updating an existing line vs. adding a new line.

We THINK our issue is the "Name" field is only 30 characters (we are assuming the system is using that field to determine unique items).  If we were to try to add in say our trailer number to force the system to identify it as an independent item, we would be left with only 24 characters to describe the item (our trailer numbers are the 5 digit City Vehicle number).  That's not really practical for the items we have inside (such as "Adhesive Bandages, Sterile" - 26 characters).  We don't have enough room to make a name of "Adhesive Bandages, Sterile 10732" as it goes beyond the 30 character limit.

Sooo...we are not sure how to fix this issue to actually get the import to work.  Our old spreadsheets had an "ID Number" that acted like a unique ID...but to integrate that number with the name isn't really practical (a. it chews into the characters needed for the name and b. it is difficult to 'manually' manage).

Can someone provide some info on how the table and import works?

...is there something in my browser I can clear to get the buttons at the bottom right of the Equipment screen to lay out correctly?  It's like they are on top of each other or something...can't get to the 'check all' button without tabbing to it.

Is there a document indicating what the max character length is for fields in MM?  I ran an import today of our equipment and fuond the Name field seems limited to 30 characters.

If not a document, could the field length (when not adjustable by the user) be listed on the Configuration page...say after the field that lets you rename the field?

I just did an equipment import and the fields were not placed correctly.   I have the following fields in my configuration:
* Equipment Categories: Animal Control, CERT Forms, Communications, EMR/CPR, Gear, HazMat, Logistics, Medical, Misc, Operations, Pager, PPE, Promotional Items, Survival, Toiletries, Tools, Trailer, Training, Uniforms (no spaces)
* Equipment Status: In Service, Out of Service, Repair-Svc-Inspection, Retired, Lost, Damaged, Expired (no spaces)
Equipment 'In Service Date' Field: In Service Date
Equipment 'Out Service Date' Field:
Equipment Field 1: ID Number
Equipment Field 2: Serial Number
Equipment Field 3: Location
Equipment Field 4: Vendor
Equipment Field 5: Inspection/Service Dt
Equipment Field 6: Count
Equipment Field 7: Assigned On
Equipment Field 8: Security Tag

Somehow I have location data in the Serial Number field...yet Serial Number never appeared as part of my import choices.

Can someone completely clear our Equipment table so I can start troubleshooting with smaller data sets (say 10 at a time)?
