Feature Requests and Issues / Head Count
« on: November 09, 2011, 02:38:20 PM »
Sir,

Something that may be of value where ever a MEMBER list is displayed, is to provide a COUNT.
It could be displayed next to the heading (ie. MEMBER LIST (35)  ) or below the List Box (ie. (35)  ). It would be helpful, at a glance, to know how many have qualified for the filtered list.

Again, Thank you.

Two persons in the list. A third, Dan, is also listed on the report.

Feature Requests and Issues / Calendar Event - RSVP, Sign-In Sheet
« on: November 08, 2011, 07:08:17 PM »
Event: MM: Aero Squadron / AeroSquad    Date: 11/12/2011   Time: 1200

Two persons qualify for the event and are so indicated. At least 1 has replied as of this time.
Printing the Sign-In sheet has three names... one that is not shown in the list of qualified individuals.

Should there be individuals other than those that appear as qualified for the event?

Thanks,
Ted

Would you be so kind as to explain the subject calculation? I have over 50 members listed but only 3 have times logged (my trying to understand how all this works).

The report I requested is for 01/01/2011 thru 11/04/2011.

The first of the three, on an alpha by Last Name report, indicates 72 hours (of a 192 minimum) but calcs to 198%. I would have expected 45%.

The second has 160 hours and I would have expected  to see a 100%. Rather, it indicates 434%.

The third seems to calc to what I would expect ( 22/192 = 14%).

I suspect I'm over-thinking this (expecting...    Total.Hrs / ((Min.Hrs / 365)*Total Days)  )

Thanks,
Ted

General Mission Manager Discussion / Participation Hours
« on: November 02, 2011, 10:11:41 PM »
Time Keeping in the HELP document indicates...  "the Minimum number of participation hours per year from the Configuration screen ". Will someone point me to where it is on the Config screen? I'm just not seeing it.

Thanks,

Feature Requests and Issues / Task Reminders
« on: November 02, 2011, 07:50:50 AM »
In exploring the capabilities of Tasks and how/if they relate to Missions, I entered two Members, but only entered a minimum of information. Although the REMINDERS drop-down-box offers various selections, it defaulted to NONE and I have left it as such.

I just wanted to note that since yesterday's add of myself as a task member, I have received two email notifications. Both show in Task History.

Thank you for all that you do.

Thank you sir. Your attention is appreciated.
I will be sure to include my Team name as a part of any future communiqué.

ps.  I don't know what you mean by "Cave" team. The config screen shows the Team Name as "Aero Squadron".
Abbreviation "Aero Squad".

Thanks

OK. I give up. My screen shots, although kept to a minimum on a screen capture, are too large and not herein accepted.

Follow my instructions in the last email and you should be able to replicate. I can do it over and over. Right now there is NO EXTRA UNIT defined. "Pilot" will NOT show in UNIT TOTALS. On the Config page, enter an additional Unit name into UNITS, left most position, and try the report again. It will work. "Pilot" will show up in UNIT TOTALS.

If that doesn't work, send me a private email that will accept LARGER attachments to CommanderTed@yahoo.com and I will reply with the set of 4 screen shots.

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: TimeKeeping Unit Summary

Things have been really crazy. I had not forgotten. Refer to attachments. It won't let me post them at one time so look for multiple submissions.

I had already added the EXTRA Unit into the UNIT section ("ExtraUnit") at the time of my last posting (Config_with.bmp).   When I ran the report just now, it looked OK (HasPilot.bmp).     Again, that is because I had that extra Unit defined in position 1 of UNITS ("ExtraUnit").

However, I just REMOVED that unused Unit (Config_without.bmp) and ran the report again. The Unit PILOT, which has 3 individuals listed in section 1 (NAME), does not show a UNIT TOTAL for "Pilot" (NoPilot.bmp). The report I see only includes "Obs(pilot)", "Obs(xpilot)" and "Inductee". There is no "Pilot". The same is true for UNIT AVERAGES. But the "Pilot" numbers ARE included in TEAM TOTALS and TEAM AVERAGES.

If I again add a dummy Unit in the 1st position on the Configuration page (again I used "ExtraUnit" or pick a name, any name), then rerun the report, WaaLaaa, "Pilot" shows up.  Both in UNIT TOTALS and UNIT AVERAGES.

Feature Requests and Issues / TimeKeeping Unit Summary
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:34:13 PM »
This seems so elementary I'm embarrassed to ask but hoping someone can point out what I'm doing wrong.

I have created four (4) Units and logged several members to each of the Units. I have entered times for several of the members, but not all.

When requesting a Participation Report, Members of the 1st Unit show in the roster section but have no entry in Unit Totals and Unit Avgs. Although Team Totals seems to be ok. I tried changing those members several times in several ways but it did not resolve the issue.

I found that if I add a fifth Unit in the #1 position ( I called it "Select"), the missing Unit (which was 1st and is now 2nd), is now included in the Unit Totals and Avgs. If I take it out, the #1 unit is again not included in the Totals and Avgs. I have been able to replicate the issue over and over... even after having logged out and back in.

It seems to simple for someone to not have had the issue in the past. Is there something I have overlooked/misunderstood?

Regards.
