Feature Requests and Issues / RSVP Comments

I know that you can roll over the name to see the comment on an RSVP. The issue we have is a lot of our folks use tablets almost exclusively. Is there a way to see the comments on a tablet? I have not found a way.

Thanks,
David

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Reminder Bug?
« on: January 18, 2013, 05:48:23 PM »
Mike,

I think this happened because it was a repeating event that someone else on the squad had added the reminder for the event. I think that might have been the issue. When I looked at the other events, the also showed the 10 reminder. If I switched it to 2 day it showed correctly.

Feature Requests and Issues / Reminder Bug?
« on: January 18, 2013, 05:26:12 PM »
We have a training set up for this Sunday 1/20/2013. We set it for a reminder 3 days before the event. I realized that no reminder had gone out, so I looked at the calendar item. It shows the reminder 3 days before the event, but on the right side under reminders, it shows "07/31/2021 - 0706"

I will see if I can reproduce it for you.

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Login/ Password reset issues

Mike,

I think that did the trick. I just tried (with the same email address) and I got the Login Activation email that was flagged before.

Mike,

I changed his email temporarily to one I where I own the domain and sent a new login activation - I did not get it so I tried the password reset. I got the password reset link, but I did not get the new password details email it so I tried again.  I finally got all three (see attachment) when I got the daily digest of Spam from my ISP. So it seems that the initial reset email is being allowed but the reset password (and Login Activation) is being blocked.  My ISP is very liberal with spam settings and not a lot gets held up, so perhaps the wording of the emails should be changed to help them get through. It might be the wording, "Thank you. This is an automated response. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY." is causing them to get caught in the Spam filter, since the Reset password link does not have that text in it and it seems to get through.

Again - this is a great product and I am hopeful we can really get some valuable use out of it, just looking to make it better for all :)

Feature Requests and Issues / Login/ Password reset issues
« on: December 18, 2012, 12:49:35 PM »
I have one person (Ironically our Sgt) who can not log in. He is not receiving any of the password reset emails and when he goes to recover the lost password he gets the first, "Password reset link" email, but not the "New password Details" email when he click on the reset link. He is receiving other mission notifications, so I don't think the email is being blocked.  Any ideas on this one? Is there a way as a the Admin to set a user password?

Thanks,
David

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Feature request - Training Tab

That should work - thanks.

how would you suggest handling the double population of time cards when someone accepts the calendar invite and we check them in for the training.
I think the best way would be to turn off the auto time population for one or the other, i.e. the Calender or the Missions.  You can do this in the Configuration settings.  I'd think it would be best to turn it off for the calender, since the calender has an button to manually add the time keeping for an event.

That would work as well. I agree on the keep it simple. The only current issue I see with using a mission, is twofold - it auto populates the time card as a mission and needs to manually be changed to training (check box could handle that) and for our Sgt and LT who want to see only missions will see both (could also be handled that way).
Another nuance,  how would you suggest handling the double population of time cards when someone accepts the calendar invite and we check them in for the training.

Thanks,
David

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Issue with time entry in mission screen
« on: December 03, 2012, 09:13:42 AM »
Follow-up question. If we do not have a computer on-scene and enter the data later, is there a way when we check personnel out to specify the check out time. It seems to default to the current time. Or can I edit that time, so the Personnel Status Report show the proper data.

Thanks,
David

Feature Requests and Issues / Feature request - Training Tab
« on: December 03, 2012, 09:09:13 AM »
Have you considered a training tab similar to the mission tab? We would like to keep a record of training hike with the map and members attending but have them separate from the missions. It would not need all the features of the mission tab, just general, check-in, maps, and personnel.  We feel it would be helpful to have a record of this information.

Thanks,
David

Feature Requests and Issues / Issue with time entry in mission screen
« on: December 03, 2012, 08:34:19 AM »
I am inputting data for a search last night.  The time team activated is 1631. But the time for first call and the time 1st unit on scene keeps changing from what I enter.  If I enter 1628 for time of first call, when I leave and come back to the screen it displays 0016 for the time. It will take the first two digits of the time make them the last two and add two leading zeros. When I enter time on scene as it does the same thing.

Am I doing something wrong?

Feature Requests and Issues / Response emails

I am just starting to explore Mission Manager for my squad. I have say it seems really full featured and cool.

One request/suggest on the response to to a call/email/sms.
You allow the prefix for a response. Could you also allow a response to a prefixed email with the response in the subject? My thinking is this. I could create a callout message with a return email of "response.MYSAR@radishworks.com" the members could then respond to the email with a yes/no/maybe in the subject.  Make sense?

Thanks,
David
