Feature Requests and Issues / Twitter Layer
« on: January 16, 2014, 03:27:24 PM »
I fired up a map to see if I could get the Twitter and Instagram layers to work. I tried this a while ago, but we were training in an area with spotty cell coverage, so it never seemed to work. As I am sitting at my desk, I centered the map over the Angeles National Forest to see if I could capture any Instagram or Twitter posts at the Colby Fire. I selected the layers, but have yet to have anything appear. I used a keyword of "Colby". Searching Twitter for Colby showed numerous hits.

Two things. First, maybe none of those Colby tweets had geo data associated with them. Second, both Twitter and Instagram are greyed in the layer list. Am I doing something wrong, or missing something?

Thanks,
JL

Feature Requests and Issues / Pushover or Notify My Android Integration
« on: November 12, 2013, 07:58:09 PM »
Wondering if you have considered adding Pushover or Notify My Android support to MM. I haven't messed with either API all that much, but I think Pushover has some response functionality, and they both have various notification priorities that can be set. I also notice that Pushover has added a group functionality so that groups of people can be notified with a single API call. There could be some interesting fail-over to Twilio functionality too. Just wondering...

I suppose Pushover would be the better choice since it is available for iOS and Android. One thing that I like about NMA is that it integrates well with Tasker and FireAlert on the Android side of things.

Feature Requests and Issues / Time Keeping and Mission Count
« on: August 14, 2013, 08:41:32 AM »
It has been a long time since I messed with this, and in looking at the postings, it looks like I left my end of things hanging.

Our county is in the midst of changing how they want team stats reported. We rarely use MM for actual mission management since we are often not the first team called to an incident. If we are, then it is a mutual aid situation. As such, our mission and training stats are collected through the calendar/time keeping features. I am not getting a mission count even after adding "Mission" to various time keeping categories. For example, "Incident Support-Mission", "Search Ops.-Mission". These are county categories. The lone training category, "Training" works OK. Is it the parsing of the category name? Should I put a space instead of a "-"?

Feature Requests and Issues / Time keeping entry visual confirmation
« on: August 29, 2012, 09:28:40 AM »
I have run into a regular issue with time keeping entry. Team members mention that they don't know if the data is saved. Often it is, but occasionally for what ever reason, certain portions of their data isn't saved. Usually it seems to be the category, but not always. In any case, I think that a "submit", or "save" button. Or even a visual cue that the data has been saved (green dot?) would be helpful. Any thoughts?

General Mission Manager Discussion / Plotting ELT Hits
« on: March 07, 2012, 09:49:41 PM »
I'm probably not the only person to do this, but I haven't seen it mentioned...

This past weekend we used the cell tower map feature to plot ELT hits. I prefer it over the line tool because you can quickly place the origin of the line with the "find" feature, then you can set the azimuth numerically without dragging things around. Just change the "angle" to 1, and you get a line. Very handy. I was able to plot them just as fast as somebody using MapTech. Of course, I may be late to the party, and you all have been doing this for a while...

Feature Requests and Issues / Save Button on Time Keeping
« on: March 02, 2012, 08:01:44 PM »
Hello,

We've completely switched to MM for our time logging, and my members are having issues with the auto saving. Is there any possibility of including a "SAVE" button on the input page?

Thanks,
JL

Feature Requests and Issues / Typo on Messages Screen

Great new features. Thanks! Quick note... The "Responses" button has a typo. Should be "Responses" rather than "Responces".

Feature Requests and Issues / Printing Member Reports
« on: January 25, 2012, 10:05:22 PM »
When I print the member report, all of the certs do no appear on the page. They appear on the spawned window, but when the page gets rendered for printing, they don't appear (even in landscape). It doesn't scroll to a second page either. When I export member data, all of the information comes along, so it isn't a big deal, but I thought I would pass it along.

General Mission Manager Discussion / Roster of attendance
« on: January 14, 2012, 11:08:23 PM »
I like the ability to change the RSVP status of an event after the fact. That helps close the loop on the RSVP vs. actual attendance. Is there a way to extract an attendance list vs. training/calendar event. I envision a table with names on the y axis and dates/event names on the x axis, with an "x" or other suitable marker in the appropriate column if a person RSVP'ed/attended. Is this possible now?

Thanks,
JL

Feature Requests and Issues / Subject Location Not Saved
« on: January 04, 2012, 08:11:14 AM »
I have a situation where I am trying to enter the location of the found subject. The location is not getting saved. At least, the box with the coordinates gets cleared every time the screen gets auto-saved. Any ideas? At first I thought that it may be due to the number of digits, so I truncated each (entered in decimal degrees) to the precision in the help file (6 decimal places), but that didn't seem to help.

Feature Requests and Issues / Event not added to time keeping
« on: December 13, 2011, 10:53:10 AM »
I just noticed that the event that we completed on 12/10/2011 wasn't added to anybody's time keeping. In the past this has always been the case. Did something change?

Thanks,
JL

Feature Requests and Issues / Print User Profile
« on: November 24, 2011, 08:32:55 PM »
It would be nice to be able to print out a user profile. The fancy version would be to select what gets printed, but as a start, it would be nice to run a list that includes the person's name, their certifications with and without dates, and what equipment that they are assigned. Since this would be too big for a summary type format, a running list would work fine kind of like the personnel report for missions. Thoughts?

Feature Requests and Issues / Printing RSVP Lists with Comments
« on: November 22, 2011, 07:45:47 AM »
Is there a way to print the comments that are made in the RSVP list? Sometimes we need to collect information from attendees prior to the event, and it would be nice to have an easy way to gather than info in the comments. As near as I can tell, the only way that they are viewable is by hovering over the response. Is there another way?

Thanks,
JL

Feature Requests and Issues / Sort by Response
« on: November 18, 2011, 03:12:37 PM »
I noticed there was a bit of redesign in the calendar RSVP management. There are check boxes for the various response types, but the "Sort by Response" is gone. I appreciate being able to selectively show the various response types, but the sort by response is handy so that I can quickly see how things are stacking up relative to each other. Maybe I am just not seeing it, so I am sorry if it is there, and I have missed it.

Below is the text from final mission report. There is an SQL error. Just thought I would pass it along.
