General Mission Manager Discussion / Plotting ELT Hits
« on: March 07, 2012, 09:49:41 PM »
I'm probably not the only person to do this, but I haven't seen it mentioned...

This past weekend we used the cell tower map feature to plot ELT hits. I prefer it over the line tool because you can quickly place the origin of the line with the "find" feature, then you can set the azimuth numerically without dragging things around. Just change the "angle" to 1, and you get a line. Very handy. I was able to plot them just as fast as somebody using MapTech. Of course, I may be late to the party, and you all have been doing this for a while...

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Save Button on Time Keeping

Yes, I know...I tell them all the time...I think that when there is some latency in their connection they can run into trouble. It is just a consistent theme with respect to support. I never have any trouble, so I don't know what the deal is. For now, it seems to be localized to the Safari users. I'll keep following it.

Feature Requests and Issues / Save Button on Time Keeping
« on: March 02, 2012, 08:01:44 PM »
Hello,

We've completely switched to MM for our time logging, and my members are having issues with the auto saving. Is there any possibility of including a "SAVE" button on the input page?

Thanks,
JL

I had the member send me the reminder email that he received. The task is marked as "Completed" in the email, but he continues to get them.

I have a member who was assigned a task, and it was completed. He marked it as complete, but still receives reminders. Is this how it should work?

Thanks,

Feature Requests and Issues / Typo on Messages Screen

Great new features. Thanks! Quick note... The "Responses" button has a typo. Should be "Responses" rather than "Responces".

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Printing Member Reports
« on: January 26, 2012, 07:43:43 AM »
Yes, your're right, there are a number of certs. As it turns out, Firefox has a page scaling feature on print that Chrome does not have. I was able to monkey with they print scaling while using my on-board print-to-pdf driver to make it work. I wish that Chrome had something similar with its built-in print-to-pdf function. There is still the member export feature that easily grabs all of the data, but the report is the best for a quick audit.

When I print the member report, all of the certs do no appear on the page. They appear on the spawned window, but when the page gets rendered for printing, they don't appear (even in landscape). It doesn't scroll to a second page either. When I export member data, all of the information comes along, so it isn't a big deal, but I thought I would pass it along.

I don't have anything specific to add to this conversation, but I can say that after nearly a decade of dealing with SMS-Email gateways, Verizon is routinely the most problematic when dealing with email forwarding and mailing lists.

I'm thinking of a summary sheet where I can see over an entire year, or other time interval, the attendance at events. The data from the RSVPs would be fine, especially since I can now adjust RSVPs to fit what actually occurred.  A list of names down the left with the events across the top, and some sort of "x" or other indication of positive attendance. I suppose formatting the events across the page of the summary could be tricky, but just a date would be a start. Actually, fancy formatting isn't necessary if a .csv file could be generated. Then I could do whatever formatting in a spreadsheet. The super duper version would be one that also included missions.

I like the ability to change the RSVP status of an event after the fact. That helps close the loop on the RSVP vs. actual attendance. Is there a way to extract an attendance list vs. training/calendar event. I envision a table with names on the y axis and dates/event names on the x axis, with an "x" or other suitable marker in the appropriate column if a person RSVP'ed/attended. Is this possible now?

Thanks,

Feature Requests and Issues / Re: Subject Location Not Saved
« on: January 04, 2012, 09:14:06 AM »
Ha! it is working now. Not sure of the cause, but I just tried it again with the exact set that I attempted before (35.352736, -117.669482) and it now works.

Thanks,

Feature Requests and Issues / Subject Location Not Saved
« on: January 04, 2012, 08:11:14 AM »
I have a situation where I am trying to enter the location of the found subject. The location is not getting saved. At least, the box with the coordinates gets cleared every time the screen gets auto-saved. Any ideas? At first I thought that it may be due to the number of digits, so I truncated each (entered in decimal degrees) to the precision in the help file (6 decimal places), but that didn't seem to help.
