Subject Location Not Saved
« on: January 04, 2012, 08:11:14 AM »
I have a situation where I am trying to enter the location of the found subject. The location is not getting saved. At least, the box with the coordinates gets cleared every time the screen gets auto-saved. Any ideas? At first I thought that it may be due to the number of digits, so I truncated each (entered in decimal degrees) to the precision in the help file (6 decimal places), but that didn't seem to help.

I just tested this in a test mission and it seems to be working OK.  It could be a problem with MM not understanding the coordinates or something?  A couple things to try:
Click on the map, and then Cut and Paste one to the coordinates in the pop-up directly in the field and see if that works.
Do the coordinates you have in mind work in the map find field?
Can you post (or email) a sample set of coordinates that are not working?

Ha! it is working now. Not sure of the cause, but I just tried it again with the exact set that I attempted before (35.352736, -117.669482) and it now works.

Thanks,
JL
