Time Keeping Open Date Issue

Not sure how the open date/enter edit date works for sure but some of my members will show a date of Feb 6 2012 and than one of them will show a date of Mar 1 2011.  Once that Mar 1 date shows up than all of them show Mar 1 2011 even the ones that showed Feb 6 2012 at first.  If I change the open date for one member does that change it for all of them or just the one member?

I think what you are seeing is connected to the "Open Date".   This field is designed so supervisors can set the date after which the member can enter their times.  Its really a means of locking time entries prior to the "Open Date".  It is set per member.

The "set per member" helps explain some of it.    The question was raised to me from one of our members because he couldn't see any of his trainings on the screen prior to Feb 6, 2012.  He can if he prints them out though so its not a big issue, just convience.  The screen view is determined by the Config page, correct? and if that is correct I have played with the settings and it still only shows back through Feb 6 for the regular members.    I am also assuming if the open date is not adjusted by a supervisor, than it is set each month by the info on the config page?

Ahh, now I understand.  Members cannot call up dates on the Time Keeping before their "Open Date", this is why they can't see the past times - this is how MM restricts changing those past dates.  They can however print any range of dates. 

You can also give that member "Time Keeping - Out of Range" login permission and this will allow them to access those dates out off range on the Time Keeping screen.
