Command Post coordinates
« on: March 13, 2012, 07:53:51 AM »
Do the coordinates for the command post have to be in a certain format?  I can seem to get them to stay using our normal D M.M

Thx

Coordinates can be entered in any of the formats MM understands.  See: http://www.radishworks.com/SearchManager/Help.htm#GPS Coordinates  Once entered, if MM understands what you entered, the display will switch to whatever format you have set in the Configuration "Mapping Coordinate Display Format" setting.

Entering D M.M can be a little tricky because of all the odd chars involved.  I find the best way to enter this value is to go to the maps page and click on the location of the command post, the little location popup will open, then highlight the GPS coordinate in the popup, then copy (CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) it back in the Command Post GPS location field.
