New Message Forwarding Feature

Mission Manager tries to make communication with your team members as easy and flexible as possible.  Today we released a new feature called "email forwarding" that allows you to send emails or text messages that will be forward to your whole team or specific units.  These messages will be forward to your team members as emails, text messages, or even phone calls.

To use this feature set the 3 new fields "Forward Prefix for Emails", "Forward Prefix for Text Messages", and "Forward Prefix for Phone Calls" in the Configuration screen to the acronyms that best matches your team.  Each field should have a different value, like: mysar, mysarsms, and mysarphone.  Once you have set these values, sending an email or text message to mysar@radishworks.com, will automatically be forward to your whole team as an email.  Sending an email to mysarsms@radishworks.com will forward the message as a SMS/Text message to your whole team.  And using mysarphone will make phone calls to all your team members and read the message to them, assuming you have set up a Twilio account.

You can also specify specific units to receive these messages by using [unit].mysar@radishworks.com where [unit] is the name of one of your units listed in the Configuration screen.  So for example lets say you wanted to send a sms message to your whole canine team, you might use canine.mysarsms@radishworks.com.

Messages must be sent from addresses or phone numbers of valid members of your team.  So only members listed in the Members screen will be able to send messages to your team and this feature can't be used by outsiders to SPAM your team.
