Printing the "Member System Access Report"
« on: May 24, 2012, 07:05:17 AM »
Is there a way to print this report out on paper?  It seems to loose whatever won't fit on the page to the right.

Hmmm, good question.  I did a little experimenting and all the browsers seem to just crop by design.   IE has a scale option but it won't scale small enough.  These are not the best options but they do work:

  • You can save the report to a .HTML file and then convert it to a .PDF - here's a free on-line converter http://pdfcrowd.com/
  • Cutting and Pasting the whole report into Word or Excel seems to work, although it messes up the formatting a bit

There is a lot of information on this report, if anyone can suggest a better format I'd be up for changing the layout.

I am not a computer person so don't know what is involved.  Would it be possible to export it?  This isn't a big deal just something I thought I would ask.

Try a right-click on the page and then "Save as".   You should be able to open the saved file in Word or Excel.

I thought about it and I can see how an "Export" might be useful.  So there is now a new button "Export Member System Access" button on the Reports page.  The export file will open directly in Excel.
