Feedback Wanted for New Mission Types

Mission Manager continues to grow in more emergency response areas.  We've seen its use for: the Rim Fire in Yosemite, last year's Hurricanes, Colorado and New Mexico Flooding earlier this year, Tornados in the Mid-West, and even the recent Philippines disaster. 

To better support these missions, we would like to add several new default mission types and we'd like your feed back!  Can we get your thoughts on what the Mission Check List Items should be for the following mission types:

• Severe Weather
• Flooding
• Earthquake
• Wildfire

It would be excellent to have a checklist style function for fire evacuations so that the comms folks (who are connected to the MM system) can dynamically log the residences, resident contact info and/or evauation status (Evac'd, Refused, Uninhabited, etc).

That way our folks in the field can work on a secondary channel to report back to SAR comms and an immediate list is available on demand.  Right now, we have to collect address and other data periodically in the field, which can be distracting for field teams and time consuming for supervisors.

What is the difference between Earthquake, Severe Weather, and Tornado?

I loaded all three into our team types and it looks as through the IC Positions and the Team Types are the same for all three.  Why not just have one that encompasses all of them.  If teams have different position and team needs, they can customize to their needs and rename if the need to be.

What is the difference between Earthquake, Severe Weather, and Tornado?

The main differences are in the mission Check Lists on the General screen.  While these types of responses are close, there are different things that should be done based on the type of event.   The hope is over time the mission check lists will improve for the different mission types of events based on feedback.

Is there a Master list of the Team types that will tell us all the information for the Team Types?  That way we don't have to go load them and then see, we can just look at a list and see it it will work for our team or not.  This would also be a plus for those users who don't know off hand what all the team types are.

If not I guess I can get to building one.

You can see all the available default mission types by pressing the "Add Type" button in the Mission Types section of the Configuration screen.  There is no master list other than adding them to your configuration.  You can easily delete them if you don't want them in your mission types with the Delete Type button.
