Test Missions
« on: April 09, 2014, 06:36:54 AM »
Is there a field that we can make so a mission does not count in the stats for the team?   I have a few missions that we have created for testing or to help store information.  Examples would be a training mission for support units or a mission that we use the map feature to layout local repeaters.

Thanks,
Ryan

No, there is no way to have a test mission. But you could use the "Mission Type" field to help in the counting process. You'll find that field in the first screen that comes up when you start a new mission. Enter into that field the word "Test" (don't use dropdown choices). Then when looking at the mission statistics printout page on the Reports tab, you'll see a pie chart with the breakdown of the mission types and total number of specific types of missions. You can then subtract the number of test missions from the total missions.

Don't forget about the sandbox feature of Mission Manager to test out the system. You can play to your heart's content without affecting your team's setup. You can find sandbox instructions and logins in the help section.
