REPEATERBOOK.COM INTEGRATION INTO MM
« on: November 24, 2015, 01:26:29 PM »
IS THERE ANY WAY TO IMPORT REPEATERS INTO MM TO AUTOFIL  THE ICS205 AND PLACE THE REPEATERS ON THE MAP. WE USE HAM RADIO TO SUPPLEMENT OUR RADIO NEEDS AND THE ABILITY TO PUT THE LOCAL REPEATERS ON THE MAP WOULD BE A HUGE TIME SAVER FOR DISPATCHING AND SETTING UP OUR RADIOS.

We do not have access to repeaterbook.com's site to check for a way to put their repeater data on a map layer. Their map URL link would need to be kml file. If their site does not have a kml link, you could make your own kml custom layer using repeater coordinates and generate your own kml file, such as you can do for free online at batchgeo.com.

There is no way to import data into an ICS205 form. One thought for a workaround though. If your ICS205 form is pretty much the same every time, I would save one as an editable file (Word doc) and put it into the general Documents tab (outside of a mission). Then when needed, you could download that file, edit as needed, and then import that file into the Documents tab of the mission, which gets saved with that mission's data. Not ideal as your ICS forms are in two different spots.
